They have 2500 bottles of wines. I inquired about Loire wines. They have some reds. I really do not about getting the wines back. I know Strohecker's did ship. I was there in 1991. Also my girlfriend when she visited there used to bring back some hard to find wines. Just a thought.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06013599925899918024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-81725475574295901722007-12-16T14:01:00.001-05:002007-12-16T14:01:00.001-05:00whoops - het steve l - i did that last time i was ...whoops - het steve l - i did that last time i was there and LOVED it - just some little place in downtown near the marriot and it was so good and so cheap. i was very surprised and impressed.Brooklynguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16321573602782343974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-88327154114538197842007-12-16T14:01:00.000-05:002007-12-16T14:01:00.000-05:00thanks you all! i will look up those places and se...thanks you all! i will look up those places and see what's what. i really appreciate the recommendations. Very good wine list here also. Le Pigeon was highly recommended to us also, but we couldn't get a table the night we tried. We also liked Tabla (http://www.tabla-restaurant.com/). We also ate at Paley's Place, but didn't think it lived up to its reputation and stratospheric prices. Service was not good and food was not as good as the other two places. Perhaps we went on an off night.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
