Now in my seventies, I started coll...Great article! Now in my seventies, I started collecting wine in the late 1970's, and have a nice cellar of older cabernet based wines. Alas, I can no longer consume as I did in my younger years. Wish I'd made the same effort with whites, though the frequently higher residual sugar levels of California wines make long term storage an issue.
