He was an incredibly gracious host (didn't pawn us off on someone else) and gave us about 75 minutes of tasting and eduaction. He poured 2 bottles of Ghost Horse, priced at $1,000 and $3,000 respectively. While both were extraordinary bottles of Cab, neither struck me me as being good enough to buy 1 bottle as opposed to 20 bottles of $50/bottle wine. However, I do not have money to burn. If so, I would probably buy a bottle or two.

Todd poured about 6-7 different wines that day and charged us nothing. By the way, we arrived without an appt while he was in the middle of a scheduled tour, and he let us join right in. While he does come off, via the website,as a bit over the top,he was hospitable and gracious in my experience.

I would describe Anderson's Conn Valley as a 'must' visit vineyard on any trip to Napa area.Jeff Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08367787032444985152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-33097671321141291092008-04-11T16:14:00.000-04:002008-04-11T16:14:00.000-04:00Thank you for the link, I was wondering where all ...Thank you for the link, I was wondering where all those new readers were coming from! Yes, Todd (or "The Todd" as he has been rechristened in tribute to his supreme tackiness) appears very serious about the project if his posts on the gazillion-page ebob thread are any indication. If it were a joke, it would be pitch-perfect, so does the fact that he's serious ruin it or make it even funnier? I'm not sure. But if I owned a winery in California the temptation to do something like this would be unbearable. You don't need to find too many suckers to laugh all the way to the bank.keithlevenberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00556819801189301362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-25442176595157878082008-04-11T10:41:00.000-04:002008-04-11T10:41:00.000-04:00The wine may be real, but Todd???The wine may be real, but Todd???Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-21888743515224755842008-04-11T10:08:00.000-04:002008-04-11T10:08:00.000-04:00I wonder if the wine is any good.
