During my conference in SD I ate there every single day. Convenient, friendly, crafty, reliably good across the board. Their creme fraiche ice cream is mind-blowing and everything else I tried is superb.Marcushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02221624021529319291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-58934074977269965682007-11-24T10:12:00.000-05:002007-11-24T10:12:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-88069593189971733192007-11-03T07:49:00.000-04:002007-11-03T07:49:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-12739437213736453762007-09-28T12:19:00.000-04:002007-09-28T12:19:00.000-04:00I opened a 2001 Baumard Papillon last spring and i...I opened a 2001 Baumard Papillon last spring and it was tight, tight, tight! On release I attended a tasting of most of the 2002 Fevres and prominent oak was not a problem (indeed, my understanding is that Fevre uses only a small proportion of new barrels each year). An awkward stage? Perhaps...I know I won't open any 2002 grand cru Chablis for several more years yet.

I have the '02 Baumard 'Papillon,' too, and I know I won't open that for awhile. I recently acquired some '95 Baumards (albeit through the most unfortunate circumstances, the passing of a good friend), and I figure those are about ready just now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-66130115396025496972007-09-04T10:46:00.000-04:002007-09-04T10:46:00.000-04:00hey andrew! - i've been to maria's but only once. ...hey andrew! - i've been to maria's but only once. i keep hearing good things so i will hvae to check it out again. there is another one now on 37th and 5th ave in sunset park, by the way.Brooklynguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16321573602782343974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3799854524070158890.post-84550296490057495762007-08-31T16:08:00.000-04:002007-08-31T16:08:00.000-04:00Neil,If you like Cebollitas Cambray, may be you sh...Neil,
If you like Cebollitas Cambray, may be you should check out this Mexican joint at Park Slope. They serve this grilled onion as side dish (I think).
http://nymag.com/listings/restaurant/marias-mexican-bistro/menus/takeout.html

Maggie sauce is good.
